One of the best-animated movies to come along since ‘Frozen’ is on the Wayne Theatre silver screen this week.

‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ is a one hour and 45 minute PG movie, and received a 92 percent favorable rating from the critics that reviewed the movie.

It is set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons. It is based on a book by Crissida C. Cowell. The action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn't exactly fit in with his tribes longstanding traditions of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges him and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.

They have all been landlocked all their lives but now the entire Northern Hemisphere opens up to them from the backs of flying dragons. Hiccup's curiosity increases, the world expands and they all come in contact with new dragons and new cultures.

Hiccup then discovers conflict brewing and is in the middle of it. Voices include Gerard Butler, Jonah Hill and Cate Blanchett.

The movie will be shown in 3D on Sunday and Friday and 2D on Saturday. If you have not seen an animated movie for a while, this is the one to see—children and adults.

Next: ‘Transformers, Age of Extinction.’ See you at the movies!!!!
