This week we change the pace at the movies from the real life terror attack in Boston to superhero Batman in Lego.

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made ‘The Lego Movie’ a worldwide hit, the leading man of that movie (Batman) stars in his own big screen Lego adventure. He does it all in a PG rated movie that is one hour and 46 minutes long.

There are changes brewing in Gotham and he wants to save the city from the Joker's hostile takeover. Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante project, try to work with others and maybe learn to lighten up a little.

Will Arnett voices batman. Other voices in the film are Mariah Carey and Ralph Fiennes. It received a 91 percent favorable rating from reviewers including ‘The Atlantic’ and ‘The Christian Science Monitor.’ Clever adult humor, action, adventures and the movie is kid friendly. We had our biggest Sunday matinee crowd for ‘A Dogs Purpose’ with over 100 attendees. Hope it continues.

See you at the movies!
