This week the Wayne Theatre is back to a fully animated movie. It is the popular ‘Smurfs: The Lost Village.’ It will not be shown in 3D so admission price is only $4 for adults and children.

The movie is rated PG for some very minor action and rude humor. It is one hour and 30 minutes long.
In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends, Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures.

Their mission is to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.

They embark on a roller coaster journey full of action and danger. The Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history.

It was great showing movies to the Elementary School last week. The 300 plus students have a good time and some have never seen a movie in a big theater and on the big screen.

The elementary staff helps seat the kids and they also run the concession stand, make popcorn and help clean up after the movie.

If there are other groups that would like to rent the theatre we would be interested in talking to you and maybe you can hold your next event at the Wayne Theatre.

See you at the movies!
