It has been a busy week for the theatre committee. We started with our quarterly meeting on Wednesday and made some decisions for improvements in the building. It was decided that we would continue with Sunday matinees for another month or so and see how attendance improves in the summertime.

Physically at the building, our projectionist wore his Clayton Plumbing hat along with another Clayton employee, and removed the sewer pipe from the basement and replaced it with new equipment. That was a big job that took most of a day.

You won't see that new sewer pipe unless you go to the basement—and we don't recommend that, because the steps are treacherous.

We also discussed some other physical changes that you will see when they are completed. The north display window has been repaired after it was broken.

This week’s movie is one that has been popular around the nation, and if you have seen it maybe you would like to see it again even though it is also graduation weekend

‘The Fate of the Furious’ is rated PG-13 and will be shown in 2D only with a $4 admission charge. Now Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from their game. The rest of the crew were found innocent and has found a semblance of a normal life.

But when a mysterious woman, Oscar winner Charlize Theron, seduces Dom into the world of crime he can't seem to escape.

They will face trials that will test them as never before. From the shores of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the arctic Barents Sea, the elite force will crisscross the globe to stop anarchist from unleashing chaos to the world and to bring back the man who made them a family.

Also staring in the movie are Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Helen Mirrin and Kurt Russell.

Coming next is the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’

See you at the movies!
