Fay Green, 89, of Corydon passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Corydon Specialty Care.

Fay was born to Mike and Ida (Duncan) Nickel on Sept. 26, 1928, in Corydon, Iowa. Fay was united in marriage to Earl Green on Nov. 3, 1948, and to this union three children were born: Leona Jean, Betty Ann and Raymond Eugene.
Fay was a farm wife for the majority of her life. She helped Earl do the chores and raised their children. She was a member of the Post 68 Ladies Auxiliary. Fay enjoyed working on the farm, baking cookies, crocheting and time spent with her family.

Survivors include three children: Jean Petty (Carl), Betty Arnold (Duane), Raymond Green (Teresa); nine grandchildren: Rusty Petty (Jamie), Bobby Petty (Jennifer), Lisa Arnold, Sara Bethards (Brad), Kala Wiltamuth (James), Justin Green, Amber Lane, Austin Green and Alyssa Green; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl; parents; siblings: Ruby Darrah, George Nickel and May Hougue.

Funeral service were held June 2 at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon with the Rev. Harold Mitchell officiating. Interment followed at the Confidence Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the family and condolences may be shared at
