Madeline Louise (Beavers) Wilson passed away March 13, 2018, at Spurgeon Manor, Dallas Center, Iowa, at the age of 90 years and nine days. Born at Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa, March 4, 1928, the second of 12 children, to Lester Dean and Mildred Sarah (Myers) Beavers. She grew up in Decatur and Wayne counties. She moved to Dallas Center in January 2017, to be near brothers, Melvin and Charles.

Madeline married Hubert Max Wilson March 17, 1946, in Leon. Madeline and Hubert farmed in Wayne, Decatur and Clark counties. They purchased, lived in and renovated many homes in Wayne and Decatur counties over the years. Madeline was a wonderful cook and homemaker and welcomed her family, especially nieces and nephews and their friends into her home. For 30 years before Hubertís death, they spent the winter months in Arizona in the Phoenix and Apache Junction Communities.

Madeline is survived by brothers: Donald Dick Beavers of Cedar Rapids, Jerry and wife, Judy Beavers of Holyoke, Colo., Melvin and wife, Susan Beavers of Dallas Center, and Charles and wife, Georganna Beavers of Dallas Center; sisters: Nancy Finck of Ocala, Flo., Donna and husband, Arnie Kempf of Durant, Kay Kline and Julie Daniels of St. Charles; and many nieces and nephews.

Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Hubert; her parents, Lester and Mildred Beavers; brothers: Rex Dean Beavers, JR Beavers and Lyle Beavers; and sister, Ione M. Owens.

Madeline requested cremation and a memorial graveside service and inurnment will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9 in Evergreen Cemetery, Lineville under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Lineville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spurgeon Manor, 1204 Linden St., Dallas Center, IA, 50063.
