Jordan Gradeless, Wayne High School senior, has been named to the 1A third team all state football team announced by the Iowa Newspaper Association.
Gradeless was named to the team in punting and defense. He finished fourth in 1A classification with 1,544 total yards punting and an average of 42.9.

The Iowa Newspaper Association announced its 2008 All-State Football selections Tuesday, naming honorary captains in classes A, 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 8-Man.
