Jeanie married William Casey on April 6, 1963, in Seymour. They were blessed with two daughters, Christine Colette and Catherine Carmen.
Jeanie was raised in the Seymour area and was a 1960 graduate of the Seymour High School. She graduated from the Iowa School of Beauty in Des Moines in 1961. After graduation she worked for several years in Corydon as a beauty operator and owned and operated her own beauty shop, Jeanie’s Casual Curls, off the northwest corner of the square in Corydon.
