When Gross Galesburg closed, she worked at Chamberlains in Albia until they closed. She then worked at Neely Manufacturing in Corydon for over 20 years until her health started to fail.
Christine continued her love of reading, quilting, crosswords, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune. Christine was a savior to her family, always giving unselfishly of herself and never taking for herself. She will always be remembered with love.
