YVONA “JEAN” IVES
Yvona “Jean” Ives, 70, died Oct. 29, 2012, at her home in Humeston. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on Sept. 29, 1942, and was the child of Pauline (McClain) and Edwin “Bud” Kissel.
Jean lived in the Des Moines area until moving to southern Iowa.
Among Jean’s survivors is daughter, Sonia McGrail of Lakewood, Iowa, and sons, James Owen (Becky Stocks) and Earl Ives of Des Moines and brother, Frank Kissel (Brenda Friedrich).
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and stepsister, Judy (Kissel) Coleman.
Graveside services were held Nov. 10 at the Humeston Cemetery with Pastor Leroy Perkins officiating.
Randolph-Black Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
