The first band set to perform Thursday, June 7 at the Summer on the Square event for the year is Georgia Justified. This band hails from Albia where they perform a variety of popular praise and worship songs that range from soft ballads to heavier rock praise.
The band originally named Justified, made a name change to honor Georgia, one of the bands founding members following her passing.
The evening will begin with the Corydon Farmers Market opening up at 5 p.m. Also set for 5 p.m. will be the visit of OTown Outlaw at Outlaw Pizza. Lance Silvers will arrive with his sprint car and sign autographs as well as allow kids to sit in the car for photos.
Beginning at 6 p.m. the Corydon Community Betterment will be serving pork loins, authentic Pilipino pork egg rolls and broccoli salad. Desserts will be served by the United Methodist Church.
Following this Georgia Justified will take the state at 7 p.m.
