Beggars Night

The council members for the City of Corydon met for a regular meeting on Sept. 8 where it was decided to set Saturday, Oct. 30 from 4 until 7 p.m. as Beggar’s Night. The council noted while they would like to move towards setting Beggar’s Night on the October 31 Halloween date, they felt parents of small children would appreciate moving it to a Saturday evening this year versus a school night.

In other business, the council approved the city crew to spend up to $800 for the purchase of a windshield for the Kawasaki Mule to allow use during the winter months.
