Business and industry leaders in Wayne County, the Wayne Community School District and Indian Hills Community College are partnering to host a Career Fair on Thursday, June 17. The fair, open to all residents of Wayne County, will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at Wayne Community High School.
The Wayne County Career Fair will include opportunities to meet with staff members from Care Initiatives: Corydon Specialty Care, East Penn Manufacturing, Shivvers, United Farmers Cooperative and Wayne County Hospital. Both East Penn Manufacturing and Shivvers will also be conducting on-site interviews during the Career Fair. Individuals interested in learning more about pursuing a degree from Indian Hills will be able to speak to members of the Indian Hills admissions department as well as instructors in the Construction Technology, Early Childhood Education, Industrial Maintenance, Information Technology, Nursing and Welding programs.
The Career Fair will also include activities for the entire family including a family movie night, kids activities and pizza. Families are encouraged to come and check out the opportunities available at the Career Fair and also enjoy an evening of fun.
Career Fair participants will be entered into a drawing to win a $1,200 scholarship to Indian Hills for the 2020-21 academic year.
