The November 3 General Election will be here before we know it and the auditor’s office has provided the voters of Wayne County with important voting information before the upcoming election. The auditor’s office will begin mailing requested absentee ballots on Monday, October 5 and will continue to mail those ballots through Saturday, October 24.
If you have already requested an absentee ballot you should see them in your mail box by Monday, October 12.
All eligible voters will have three options for casting a vote ballot in the 2020 General Election that will be held on Tuesday, November 3.
Registered voters may request a ballot to be mailed to their home address. The auditor’s office will pay for delivery and return postage for all mailed ballots.
Voting in person at the auditor’s office will begin Monday, October 5 through Monday, November 2.
The final option for voting will allow you to show up at your regular polling location on the day of the election, Tuesday, November 3 anytime from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Below is a list of regular polling locations across Wayne County:
Precinct A01: Civic Center, Allerton. (Eligible voters of Allerton, Clio, Lineville and Townships; Clinton, Grand River, Howard, Jackson, Jefferson and Warren)
Precinct C02: Conference Room, Wayne County Courthouse, Corydon. (Eligible voters of Corydon and Townships; Benton & Corydon)
Precinct H03 Community Building, Humeston. (Eligible voters of Humeston & Millerton and Townships: Clay, Richman, Union, & Washington)
Precinct S04 Community Building, Seymour. (Voters of Promise City and Seymour and Townships; Monroe, South Fork, Walnut and Wright)
