Kendall Howard Richardson, 76, passed away June 7, 2020, in Phoenix, Ariz.

Kendall was born April 15, 1944, to his parents John William and Wanetta Fern (Everman) Richardson. He graduated from Corydon in 1962. Kendall enlisted in the Air Force after graduation and was also in the Army Reserves for a combined total of 40 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran. After his retirement he worked for the Army Corp of Engineers at Rathbun Lake for nine years and then retired to Phoenix, Ariz.

He was active in the Eagles and was a current member of the Corydon American Legion Russell E. Marshall Post #68.

He met and married Arlene Button in Colorado in 1999.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene; daughter Melissa (Robert) Gore; stepdaughters Malinda Hanlon and Michele Glancy; brothers: David (June) Richardson, James (Trula) Richardson and Dennis (Terri) Richardson; sisters: Leta Richardson and Rita (Doug) Preston; granddaughter Rochelle and grandson RJ; brother-in-law George Button; sister-in-laws: Valerie Richardson; Carolyn Richardson; and Karen (David) Bowers; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Larry and Randy Richardson.

Inurnment will be at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials have been established to the family.
